Robert Irvine, host of the show “Dinner:Impossible” on the Food Network, was fired after he allegedly lied on his resume about being “knighted” and cooking for American presidents.
My finacee and I love his show! For those who aren’t aware of his program, he’s a formal member of “Her Majesty’s Military” and world renowned chef. The show pits Robert against incredible odds to produce entire meals (mulitple courses) in a set period of time with certain obstacles or lack of tools, equipment, food prep, etc…
The picture above doesn’t do him justice; he’s complete ripped. The man is like an oak tree and its always fun to watch him cook, whether its on crusie ship, a military base, a 14th century replica village, the jungle, etc…, the man is an artist with his choices and is methodical in his setup and delivery of each dinner he prepares.
Here’s a clip from one of his episodes:
Robert Irvine…I still believe in you!
Personally, I don’t care if he was knighted or served any American presidents. He is a phenomenal chef to watch and I have always been impressed by his efforts on the Dinner Impossible show. It doesn’t hurt that he is as buff as any professional athlete I have ever seen. Although I don’t believe anyone should lie or “inflate” a resume, I really do miss Chef Irvine. He was an asset to the Food Network. I hope they settle their differences and bring him back.
Having said that, I also want to add that I have nothing against Michael Symon and have enjoyed seeing him on Iron Chef and Dinner Impossible. Certainly a network as large and diversified as Food Network can find a place for both chefs.
